I've watched districts spend thousands on the wrong 3D printers for their needs only abandon the program. A lack of training for staff leads to frustration and printers sitting unused.  Most of us have had to self-teach how to 3D print, which is time consuming and full of trial and error - ultimately stifling the learning for students.
